FAQ's
How many services do you have? We currently have one worship services per week.
Sunday mornings.

What time are services?
Sunday Morning Celebration Service @ 10:00 am

What are your Sunday services like?  If you love gospel music, both old school hymns and contemporary songs, our praise and worship team will encourage you to join in by singing, clapping, lifting your hands, and shouting praise to God.  We try to set an atmosphere where everyone can worship God as mentioned on the Bible..."in Spirit and in Truth."

What is your Mid-Week service like?  Our Wednesday Night Word Explosion will start back up real soon.  However, it is a relaxed and laid back time of worship where we dig into the Bible to learn as much as we can about our Faith and our God.  We encourage you to bring your Bible, a pen/highlighter, and your praise, expecting to learn.

Will I have to stand up in front of people?  We recognize everyone worshipping with us for the first time and we will ask you to stand.  However, if you are shy about standing, we will not force you to do anything you are not comfortable doing.  We will be happy to greet you in your seat.  Just to give you the heads up...after we acknowledge anyone worshipping with us for the first time, we all walk around and greet another, so you will definitely feel welcomed.

Do I have to dress up?  To get right to the point...NO.  We want everyone to feel as comfortable as they can during our worship services.  Some people dress up and some wear casual clothes.  However, we do request that everyone dress modestly to avoid being a distraction.  Therefore, women, the bathing suits will have to remain in the closet. Men, leave the biker shorts at home.

Do you have services for children available?  Not at this time. However, our King'z Kidz Children's Church usually meets every Sunday expect 1st Sunday during the Morning Worship Service.  We all worship together during the Praise and Worship portion of the service and during the offering, the children are escorted to the Children's Church.  At this time, our K2C2 ministry is not meeting.  We are looking to start it again in the near future.

What are the people like?  We are known as the church that makes everyone feel like family from day one.  We will greet at the door and the fellowship will not stop until you drive off after church.  Our specialty is PEOPLE.  Stop by real soon and feel the love.

How long are your services?
Sunday Morning Celebration Service – Usually 90 minutes
Wednesday Night Word Explosion (Bible Study) – Usually 60 minutes

How am I expected to participate in the service?  You are expected to come ready to sing praise to the Lord and hear a word from heaven.

What does it take to become a member?  We call our members "Covenant Partners".  If you are interested in becoming a part of the ministry there is a 6-week course facilitated by the leadership of the church.  These courses will layout who we are and what we believe.  We do not want to force anyone to be a Covenant Partner.  This 6-week course will give you an opportunity to decide if this is the church for you.

How do I add a name to the Prayer List?  We pray corporately for the names on our Prayer List every week.  Names can be added during any worship service, via email prayer@lwcdaytona.org or online through our Prayer Center (coming soon).
